Tired Eyes from Computer and Reading

Intensive school and job related tasks can create great visual stress. Eye strain is a common problem in today's visually demanding world. Several key signs of eye strain include: sore or tired eyes, itching and burning sensations in the eyes, sensitivity to light, dry or watery eyes, focusing difficulties, headaches, back and neck aches.

A lot of the times, a simple pair of reading or computer glasses can help release most of the stress. It is also important that you have proper lighting, comfortable seating, correct viewing distances, and take enough breaks between near visual tasks. Make sure you come in for a visual exam if you are experiencing eye strain, neck or back aches from intensive near work.
