"To tell you the truth when I first came to vision therapy I was shy, timid, and thinking I was going to hate it. At that point I didn’t know how much it was going to impact my life.
I know that when you think of vision therapy you think of your eyes. Yes, vision therapy did help my eyes in many ways, but it has helped my character and my personality in ways I can’t describe.
If you had known me about two years ago you wouldn’t recognize me. I was shy, timid, self-conscious, judgmental, and had self esteem lower than a snail. I was also really sad because of the school I was going to and the teachers I had; names of teachers and school will not e given. Now I am a totally different person and I have better self esteem.
It has also helped my eyes in many ways. I no longer see double, I can focus better, I have fewer headaches, I can see better in the dark, I don’t get as tired as I used to after taking notes, I can spell better, I don’t squint as much, and I can now get my work done more efficiently. Thank you Family Optometry."

"I don’t really know where to begin. The past 12 months have been a great challenge and the struggles that I had to go through to get to the end. I would like to thank Dr. Bacon for helping me out, whether it was testing me or just there for a helping hand and Dr. Lewis for his assistance and comedy act. It really, made me feel good about myself, knowing that I’m not the only one in this position. To all the vision therapists especially Sherry, thank you for your patience, intelligence, knowledge, creativity, and flexibility with me. Without all this help, I would not be as self-confident and secure within my self. Thanks again for everything. From the old me to the new me, seeing it all clearly now, I can face the up coming school year and future with a whole new perspective."
